About ATS Signal and AI Agent USA
ATS Signal is a free, browser-only resume checker from AI Agent USA. Learn why we built it and how we keep the scan independent and private.
The short version
ATS Signal is a free resume checker for people who want a useful second opinion without creating another account or handing over a resume. It is built by AI Agent USA, an independent web-tools project focused on practical, browser-based utilities.
Why we built it
Most resume checkers sit behind a signup, a paywall, or a file upload. The upload is often the first step in a funnel: create an account, get a partial score, pay to see the rest. We wanted the opposite experience. Add a file, see the text a parser may see, compare it with a job post, and leave with a fix list.
The tool is deliberately rules-based. It does not use a generative AI model to invent achievements or rewrite your resume. It cannot know how a particular employer configured its systems. What it can do is make parsing risks, missing sections, weak evidence, and keyword gaps visible in a few seconds.
What we believe
- Privacy is a feature. A resume contains personal data. The safest file is the one that never leaves your device.
- Specific beats clever. A clear bullet with a real result is stronger than a trick for "beating" an ATS.
- No guarantees. Hiring is human, messy, and competitive. A score is a planning signal, not a verdict.
- No keyword stuffing. We would rather show you a gap than encourage you to claim a skill you do not have.
Where we work
AI Agent USA is an independent online brand, not a claim that we have a physical office in the United States. The name reflects the audience and subject we focus on. We publish for job seekers in the U.S. and worldwide, and the site is available wherever you can access the web.
How the site is funded
The checker is free. We plan to support the site with advertising on guide and content pages, not inside the resume workflow. If advertising is enabled, this page and the privacy policy will identify the ad partner and the choices available to you. We do not sell resumes or contact details.
Who writes the guides
Guides are produced for this site using public documentation, observable hiring practices, and testing of the site's own browser tool. The workflow uses AI-assisted drafting and a build-time quality check. A named human editor and independent review are still planned; we do not present ourselves as licensed career counselors, lawyers, or ATS vendors. Read our editorial policy and methodology for details.
Contact
Corrections, questions, and partnership notes can go to ghaffour2019@gmail.com. Please do not email a resume; the checker is designed to keep it on your device. See the contact page for details.
